Week 3 was the worst injury week of the young season. De'Von Achane tore his ACL in the first quarter against Kansas City and is done for the year. Baker Mayfield dislocated his throwing thumb and will miss about three weeks, which leaves undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels in charge in Tampa. Breece Hall is week-to-week with a quad injury, Justin Jefferson hurt his ankle, and Mike Evans was carted off with a rib injury. The Giants also traded a fifth-round pick for J.J. McCarthy, though nobody expects him to start soon.
Waivers run tonight in most leagues, and Ollie Gordon and Braelon Allen are the names everyone is bidding on. Set lineups early this week. Steelers at Browns kicks off Thursday night, and Colts at Commanders is in London at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Sunday. No byes in Week 4, but they start next week.
