🏈 Matchup Notes
Week 1 is here, and it does not start on Sunday. The Patriots and Seahawks open Wednesday night in Seattle, a Super Bowl LX rematch on banner-raising night, and the 49ers and Rams play Thursday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Two standalone games before the main slate, both loaded with fantasy-relevant names.
So set your lineup early. Most leagues lock each player at his own kickoff, which means if you have a Patriot, a Seahawk, a 49er, or a Ram, you have deadlines on Wednesday and Thursday — not Sunday at one. Every year a few managers leave points on the bench in Week 1 because they set lineups Sunday morning out of habit. Don't be one of them.
